The genesis of the KV

K.V Kalpetta came into existence fulfilling the long felt needs of Central government and State government employees working in Wayanad District, Kerala on 7th July 1997. Wayanad district has large concentration of tribal communities. The school was opened in 1997 and Hon.Shri.M.P.Veerendra Kumar Ex.Union Minister for State was instrumental in opening this vidyalaya under Civil sector.
