The Pre Vocational & Skill Education Program at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya kalpetta equips students with practical skills in areas like cyber security, gardening, electrical work, local music, and games. Highlights include teacher training, sensitization of students and parents, hands-on experiences, cultural heritage activities, and resource utilization through a parent database. The BaLA project integrates art into vocational exposure, and skill awareness modules are offered by CBSE. Teachers incorporate the kitchen garden into lessons and utilize their expertise for vocational training. Future plans include an annual plan and increased parental involvement to enhance resource utilization.
A one day workshop for teachers conducted in IoT. The class lead by Richard M Joy,Co-founder & IoT integration expert and Prince John Joseph,Co-founder & COO, both are from ufarms.io Agritech Pvt Ltd. They demonstrated how to work with Arduino Uno boards in the session.
